This was a monochrome conversion from a jpeg I shot while wandering in the bush. I used a mixture of the blue and green layers of the decomposed image.

This little white flower was standing out illuminated in its own beam of sunlight, hence the dark background.

It is good that background is dark. It gives focus to the flower. Especially with close-ups one does not want a distracting background. Well done!
