Assuming you mean the lines on the left edge of the image, then I have a genuine reason why they have not been removed. When I look at the image in GIMP the lines cannot be seen because the image is surrounded by stationary ants and the smudges are exactly under the ants. Should these ants be there or is there some setting that I can use to get rid of them?

I have watched the video and I neither saw nor heard any reference to the ants. Perhaps you would be kind enough to give me a clue.
