I guess this color version needed more photoshop work... the BW version was much easier to handle with.

I like the BW version more. This IMO looks alot like alot of other pictures "out there" whereas the BW version looks more unique :-)

At least that's my 2 cents

Gracias, amigos.
@Bere: the curvature is what is called fish eye effect. This photo is an stitched panorama, made with sw AutoPano Pro, which uses old Autostitch engine, but allows interesting user settings. That's all digital manipulation, that wouldn't be necessary If I had a good DSLR with fish eye lenses.
This place is Estação da Luz (Light Station), biggest train station in São Paulo. Built by english engineers between 1895 and 1901, it is said to be inspired on Flinders Street Station, in Melbourne. The architecture is very british, one could meet Harry Potter there :)

oh i see kodaky, thank you! yes fish eye lenses are great but the real ones, as you said, are too expensive, i wanted to get a lomo camera and one of my options is their plastic fish lens, they seem cute and they might not capture details but at least you can play with the fish eye... and kodaky well you did a great job with the digital mastering and re-mastering, you are a master :) and the place seems legendary indeed, i wasn't sure if you were talking about Melbourne, Australia, but the Harry Potter reference made it all clearer, like your picture!

hehe I believe that most of 19th and early 20th century train stations all over Brasil and Latin America were built by British railway companies. In most cases, architectures were english, some were french.
