it was parked in front of my house yesterday.
It is a brazilian classic sports car.
Puma GTE, 1979, air cooled 1600 VW engine, two carb, fiber glass body, 2.15m wheelbase

I didn't find any info on max speed, but I believe it was close to 170km/h

looks like a Porsche 911 clone, although I think it was based on the Karmann ghia originally. The 1979 production line used General Motors parts, afaik.

yes! It's a Karmman Ghia chassis!
The body design is brazilian, designed by Rino Malzoni (more italian, impossible).

There were some models that used GM engines also,
GTO and GTB - GM engines
GT, GTE and GTS - VW engines

the GTB used a 4.1 liter engine...
I think it is suicide! hehehe

It wasn't the same company, but some engineers and designers worked on both projects.

The design of that buggy is great, but I guess that Puma Buggy is mexican, I dont know... or they just printed Puma there.
