Carl Anderson is the co-author of the New York Times bestseller Our Lady of Guadalupe: Mother of the Civilization of Love and several other books. When he took over leadership of the Knights of Columbus in 2000, Mr. Anderson dedicated his administration to Our Lady of Guadalupe in her Basilica in Mexico City. Under his leadership, the Knights of Columbus have engaged in several Guadalupan undertakings, including cosponsoring a 2003 tour of a relic of St. Juan Diego's tilma, establishing a Marian Prayer Program dedicated to Our Lady of Guadalupe, convening the first-ever International Marian Congress on Our Lady of Guadalupe in 2009, followed by the Guadalupe Festival held at the Jobing.com Arena in Phoenix, Arizona.
