A little platform extended out into the canal. Lovely low perspective close to the swans.

Thanks for the reply. I like the unusual angle.

I think one of the reasons I like it so much is because you almost feel like you're in the water. Monochrome (new for you?) also seems to work very well for these more architectural shots.

Thanks for the wonderful comments friends! @mramshaw There's quite a few monochromes dotted through the my photostream, but they're outnumbered by the colour shots 10-1 =)
