– or could it be that you forgot to set it back to "daylight" or "auto" after you'd been
using the "flourescent" setting at one point?
PS. If you use any of the fool-proof exposure modes - that is - the green rectangle or any of the scene modes, the white balance is locked (decided) by the camera.
PPS. Setting your camera to store RAW-files instead of JPG-files, will allow adjusting the white-balance setting after the shot has been taken, at the cost of having to process the images on your computer before you can use them for printing or posting on the web.
