屋外放置(テラコッタ鉢植え、東向き木陰)だが、
毎年新芽が伸びて可愛い花を咲かせてくれる。
日の当たる方に茎を伸ばして放射状に広がり、
花壇の縁飾りになっている。
花と紅葉が終わると、地上部は枯れて春を待つ。
