fried banana is kinda common in asian countries like malaysia, singapore or indonesia :D its kinda like a traditional delicacy.
but it looks kinda different from ur pic though.
its called "goreng pisang" btw.
goreng means deep fried, pisang means banana, so u get deep fried banana. mmmm and it tastes so good too!

I'm a little dissapointed because a certain Malaysian restaurant in Philadelphia has this dessert, however, the setup is a little different. They only offer one fried ice cream, and two fried bananas. The fried ice cream part to me is the delicious part. I feel a little cheated because I don't want two bananas. LOL. Anyway, the point is that this dessert is very tasty, fried ice cream part is the best.
