Great detail, I think you maybe did not need so much zoom.
You have left lots of room for us to look towards whatever the
owl is looking at, which I think is always a good thing (they,
like us, are hunters after all).
I think it might work better as a vertical, in which case you
could step back a little, include more of the post, and maybe
distribute the negative space a little more evenly.
I wil put some other pictures of the owl on 23.
