Okay, this is nice! Mine is a bit harsh and hard, how did you get this nice soft effect in the colours?

Hi! Very easy :-)
I duplicated the background layer (multiply mode) and added a layer mask.
Then I managed to create a selection area so I could reveal the parts of the picture you see colored, and hide the rest.
Back to the background layer, I have desaturated it, and then set a opacity of about 60% to the duplicated layer.
Just the stuff Rolf has been teaching us, you see :-)

Btw, your picture is a nice one, too; the framing and colors are ok, don't thing they are too hard...
