It's not so clear from this picture, but that sphere inside the prop is actually self-illuminated, as you can see in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5IOVwQPg1k
It helped the auto-focus a bit as the temperature dropped towards zero and the light dropped to pitch-black. Looks like I have the Nissin in the umbrella almost straight on here, with the SB-24 camera left again. |
