View from Friedrichsturm on the summit Badener Höhe (1002m)

We had this view at this beautiful "coast line" from the summit of Badener Höhe which is "only" 1002 meters (3287 ft) high. Normally you can see the whole Rhine Valley from this viewpoint but yesterday the fog covered the whole valley.

It looked like an ocean with its waves crashing against the coast.

Das sind die schönsten Momente, wenn man wochenlang unter der Nebeldecke lebt. Herrlicher Weitblick über das Wolkenmeer mit sehr guter Bildaufteilung. Klasse finde ich auch die Schattenverläufe in Richtung Turmspitzschatten ;).

Thanks for the comment @daniel, made me take a closer look.

Great picture (wish it was a little bigger though), there's a
ski hill in BC (Big White) where quite often the fog will roll
in and blanket the surrounding countryside. Weird to see
a 'sea' of fog, also kind of cool to be above the cloud line!
