boatyard100 - impasse. thought this was gonna be it. sat and contemplated the 8 feet of singleboard wall for five minutes, then grabbed an iron stake sticking in the top. came out like it was in butter. was going to stop here, but then i looked over to all the boats on the other side and realized i was going to get over there. inched out on the ridge on my rear and it held up. got to the end and sturdy, tho nothing to hold onto for leverage. fell to the other side with my hands and threw the camera over. then grabbed some kind of firm stakes on the other side and jumped. made it dry, but knew as soon as my feet left that it'd be a lot more difficult getting back on this narrow thing than off. had a lovely image of me either stranded there, swimming off holding the camera overhead, or being spotted and having the nypd come with full force - helicopter, safety nets etc...decided to block those thoughts for a bit and keep exploring.

what a macabre story
the impetus of an artist
live cautiously even if!!!
we can’t afford to lose such an amazing artist and friend to his art
a magnificent and astonishing documentation you’ve done
but doesn’t worth your life señor
glad you made it back and you are alive!
be careful can’t get tired of repeating
and now that you are on the other side
enjoy those memories that are not of nets nor helicopters
but of sharing ditch your miraculous documentary
the tale of where live all of those dead boats
i can’t portrait the atmosphere that surely breaths there
abandonment and human race traces depilating back to nature
where once they belonged
