That's a nice little area around the station.
But not accessible for the disabled. It's really shocking to me how many stations are not. And the MTA gets by with it. The same way they seem to get by with everything. Perhaps if they'd spend a little (lot) less time and money jazzing up high-profile stations, they could throw a little toward upgrades for the city's residents. I gripe about the slowness of service sometimes, but really--I can at least get where I need to go with essentially no hassle. I've thought many times about folks who can't make the stairs and it just seems criminal.
