shoulda kept 'im. a little girl and her mom walked past, and she was entranced. 'is it yours?' 'nope, just taking a picture'. a bit of oohing and aahing, and then, very seriously 'do you think i can touch him?' having taken the pic 'sure, and all those dials really work'. even mom got into it. dunno how long he stood out there, but by the morning he was gone. hopefully he didn't get crushed in the giant maw of sanitation

oh nice story insky
and my hopeful thought: archytas is sleeping now in the girl's room, the mom brings them milk & cookies every night
