way back in the day hung out with an advance scout for the cacophony society/proustians (from cali, figure) as he infiltrated detroit. lots of fun dadaist things went on./ my favorite is when my roommate dan headed out west with them to ski and brought back film of them lighting themselves on fire and screaming down the slope. wonder if he still has that around somewhere...

i can imagine the dan from that story is the same as dan-where-is-the-bomb-dan roommate, huh? i still remember that e-mail you forward with his story... and the rolling down the slope on fire, just don't do that if you join the society please... and yep californians indeed have too much time on their hands (except this one) heh heh... wonderful inksy photos for your dada-journalism folder indeed! hey! and beware of any lost santas! i bet there are some around there still...
