the whole line of murakami is different in europe, all with these beautifully minimalist bnw covers (mostly white). ah to carry em all home. bought the lovely 'kafka on the shore' - though read, never owned, and the perfect excuse for a cat in the house

ahhhhh, yummy.
and yes, the pics suggested he was a bit. Question from other pic answered. He seemed a little creepy in that one--looming in the background.

Anyway, back to books. In answer to the inevitable question--no, I have not managed to read a word of Murakami. Yet.

Anybody who says physical books will go out of favor, is one who doesn't know the pleasure, of touching, holding, feeling, listening to the sound of a book in the hand.
