what sort of cricket?

sorry for the late response - just saw yr comment - darts cricket. object is to hit three of every number. first to do so wins. [however, there are clauses. if you hit three of a number and at least one of your opponents hasn't, you get points...ie: pd(pat) hit an extra 17 and terry 2 extra 16's. to make it more complicated, we play ''master's' cricket, when the only time you can score is when you hit your third number{plus-there are 2x and 3x areas for every # one can hit} assuming at least one other hasn't 'closed' the number out. numbers are only 20-15 of the 20 possible - must actually aim-plus the bullseye. hope that helps....

oh and scoring tally is one slash (\) first time you hit a number, slash again (to make an x (/)) second time, and circle for the third. if you're lucky or good and hit a triple in one shot, you just make a circle. same thing, but a bit of prestige with no lines within the circle...

ha!!! it can be if a couple pints downed and no one can hit the bullseye. magic - a couple more and all one guy can do is throw perfectly. games can go from five minutes up to twenty thirtyish minutes, or, "where the hell did topher wander off to?" generally a great blood sport, without usually any blood, which forces the participants to keep their finest motor reflexes sound regardless of the conditions they are in/subject themselves to. waxing rhapsodic i guess
