this spot was nice, though there's a bit of an unsettling feeling permeating the island (for me, anyway - the groups that drove in and picnicked outta the back of their cars didn't display that ).
the guy hunting for stuff(bottles, needles, treasure?) on a wooded 45-degree-down wooded incline path next to the bridge popping out of the shrubbery to say "hi" was both pleasant and unsettling... some of the rest of the pics may nod towards manhattan's dark shadow on this place. ghost cats, lost souls, that sort of thing that becomes creepy when it is your second visit, you know the place like the back of your hand, and then the sun exits and you're lost

kept my shoe, but, yes, squeamish describes the feelin that came a' creepin
