easily one of the greatest guitarists i've ever seen. and i've seen a few. junior brown, buddy guy both blew me away first time i saw em, but they did it with bands. this was special. and only in new york do you see this with only 9 other people in the room. several people left in the first couple songs. amazing. he played a song and a medley from his great cd 'edge of heaven' (couldn't be more highly recommended) and bunches of other great stuff, including arthur russell's 'let's go swimming'. fingers ablaze. a crime people weren't beating each other up to get in. new cd on the 26th. genius |
