I owe this experience to my siblings. Some weeks before this trip, my little sister complained to my older brother about the cold weather in Denmark, and her being sick. Then my brother replied that they should go to Milan and eat some delicious Italian ice cream. At first my little sister thought he was joking but he wasn’t. So they decided to go and I just joined the party. We had a great time shopping, relaxing in parks, seeing stuff like Doumo (the church on the picture) easting delicious ice cream and good food.
We arrived Friday we started out checking in to our hotel. Then we got something to eat. Afterwards we went straight onto checking out the boutiques. It was some experience to see the very glamorous Prada, Armani, Christian Dior, etc boutiques. I mean – one prada boutique had marble on the floors, walls and ceiling.
Anyways – all we did on day 1 was shopping. I got a pair of Dior shades and my brother got some Dior shoes. In the evening we got a nice dinner at a restaurant and the best ice cream I’ve ever tasted in a café called “Chocolat”.
Day 2: We took the metro/subway to the church “Duomo”. As we arrived we were surprised to see there was some kind of military parade going on honoring the FN (UN) or something. We couldn’t get inside the church because my little sister had to short shorts. Then we just continued shopping. My little sister got a very cool bikini from some boutique I can’t remember the name off. Afterwards we got a Café Latte and something to eat.
So around 1400 we decided to go and relax in the park. Afterwards we got another ice cream from the “Chocolat” café and then we headed back home.
No problems getting to the airport and a smooth flight home.
