Prayer flags cast their mantras into the air, fluttering to the slightest icy breeze. Mighty and barren occur yellow mountains stand naked all around. Few small patches of grassland spread across in the valley. Icy, but fresh water, straight from the glaciers, flow right next to you. Majestic and peaceful gompas and monasteries stand in pride atop the barren mountains.
