Two ounce nugget of gold found here in 1840 by a Mr Gregg its not know if he then started a chain of easy eats bakers on the back of it. But note the quartz mixture bottom ,to the side and the big boulder mid stream. The quartz is usually mixed with a brown rock plus mica. But pure white specimens ar also present in the burn to a much smaller degree. |
