Its got to by turning off the A701 just before getting into Tweedsmuir. Because this photo is about a mile and a half from the green hill in the middle forground it does not show how high the hill is.
When I first saw this it was fun to see a wonderous goat track curve right over the the top of that hill and be amazed at how agile they must be to be able to keep their footing. I was reassured that the road for cars tracked around the corner and onto a more easy route. But had a very hard job seeing the humour of it when it turned out the goat track I saw was the road!!!!!!! Definately not reccomended for cars towing caravans . As it is there is always a smell of clutch after surrmounting that hill. Spent a day panning the burn that pours down into Talla . There was as far as I could tell no discernable gold.
