And in full size it is very nice as well. Love the droplet, the crispness, the limited depth, the sunbeams, and the overall composition. Very nice picture indeed.
Are the droplet's sunbeams real? Or were they added?
You know the plant - poinsettia (Euphorbia pulcherrima) or so called Christmas star. The droplet is totally natural. Honestly, I didn't pay attention to that plant very much until the moment I realized that there are droplets appearing around the flowers! Now, I read in the net that these yellow structures of the flower head are called cyathia. A distinctive mouth-shaped structure occurs on the side of each cyathium. This is a nectar producing gland that attracts insects to the flower-head.
