they are octopus... and I can asure you guys... cooked are deeeeelicious ;))
That is octopus and they are great cooked! My favorite food during these two weeks was pescado frito, always, my beloved ever!!! And among all the fish, shrimps, etc. in the dish, my favorites were las chipirones -- fried tiny octopuses <:P~~~~~
Have you tried "Pulpo a la Gallega" ??? OOOOHHHHHHHH WHAT A TASTY THING!!!!
If you ever go to Mexico you need to try "Coctail de Pulpo" or "Coctail Campechano" which has oysters, shrimps, octopus..plus raw onion, spicy sauce (can be tabasco), little bit of ketchup, lemon, avocado (not for me but.. ehem..) salt, coriander some times (fresh leaves of course) and voila!! eat it with saltines (crackers with little grains of salt) or tostadas (corn tortillas fried and hard... sort of like nacho chips... but waaaayyy different in flavour ;)) )
OOooooooohh nooooo.... now I'm hungry again!!!... hehehehehe

With or without octopuses and that dreeeeaaaaaamy fishy Cocktail, I'd like to spend some weeks in Mexico! Definitely! :)))

Ohhh Volker, you miss very yummy things.. really but well.. I guess that it is the same thing with me and avocado... I just can't eat it... makes me sick :& ...although I've tried several times (cause I like to try any kind of food) but has been in vane... my body says eeeeverytime EEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWW heheheee so, nothing to do ...right? ;D

OOOHHH REALLY???? Geri dear, that's a shame too.... garlic is soooo good for your health.... like onions too... what a powerful little things they are ha?? But you know what?? Although I love both I can't eat them raw.... my stomach looks like a zeppelin right away... and hurts real bad..... I know a little trick for onion though.... if I want to eat it with out cocking it I leave it for a bout 2 hours soaking inn lemon juice.. and Tadaaaaaaaa!!!! Makes the charm... so I can eat as much as I want like this ((: (of course the flavour changes a little bit... but inside of a nice ceviche...yuuuummmm I can't complain)
