These little digger-wasps (? Ivo will say am I wrong or right:) live in my pots. I realized that their population had very successful growth this summer.
The photo was taken just after the rain and this pilot was deeply in thought to fly or not ... for enough long time :)

That's a simple fly that doesn't look healthy to me;)

Euz, maybe she is not dying... maybe she has a hangover?!? after drinking to much apple juice (we have a nice apple tree just in the front of the balcony:))

I prefer to think for her as a drunk fly! :)
They are so many (and so equal :) little flies like this around the pots so I think she was getting well in a few days after the photo-session! :*)

I always try to be optimistic but you're right... I do not like flyes or cockroaches :# ...yaaacckkkk


...but this fly was a special case....I new her, she used to be optimistic and caring..always worring for others.. since one day that she received terrible news... she colapsed and start drinking that dangerous apple elixir...which with out noting it transformed the little dreamer fly into a stone kartush.

So you're right Volker, she didn't dye.. she just metamorphosed.
