I hate to say that, you're right! ;-)

I thought I had seen a sign with something about wombats on it.

In German they are called "Wasserschwein". What means "water-pig". And they where in the water, too. :-)))

We have a number of big tail-less rodents in Brazil, but the capivara is both the biggest and the cuttest. Difficult to miss them.

And they sure do love water! Glad to see some of them waterpigs found shelter and friends in Germany :)
