i have two old film cameras 35mm too
a Nikkormat EL from 1971 and a Zenith that still says made in USSR :)

I haven't used it for a long time. So I've to put new batteries in it and look if it still works. Do you still use your old cameras, Bere?
What's about your Voigtländer, Geri?

right now i am not using mine either Volker, but not long ago and for a while the Nikkormat was my main camera, i just realized i have 364 photos in 23 with it! it was a lot of work to develop every week into a CD and never know what i was expecting back :) still was fun!

I still have my Yashica FX1 from 1978. When I get a moment I'll take a shot of it and post it here. We should start a vintage camera group! Sadly I no longer use it, although remarkably enough the battery that's been in the camera since 1984 still works!! :)

Bere: my first SLR was a Zenith, and my second was a Nikkormat. Quite a coincidence!

oh that's a nice coincidence indeed Stevie! both my cameras still work, but hey! i have changed the battery, i think that battery you have should be analyzed, it might be the answer for the Energetics crisis!! wow 1984 was over 20 years ago!! and i thought i was old ;)

the idea of the vintage camera group sounds great! count me on :) and now that my DSLR is broken i doubt i have to use my film cameras for a while again... ah
