I prefer this colour version: the complementary blue stones and rusty ironwork go so well together.

I agree with you, Stevie! But the other one wasn't so rusty and the relief was not good visible. So I increased the contrast, and in this case I thought it looked better in b&w.

btw What's about sewer-caps in London? Would like to have some in my group. ;-)

That will teach me for being lazy - I just assumed these were two variants of the same image!! :( Now I look properly at the B&W photo, I agree that it is also beautiful in its own way!

I will try and capture some of these in London, although I don't think we have such impressive ones over here!
