De Luchthaven Venetië Marco Polo (Italiaans: Aeroporto di Venezia Marco Polo) is een vliegveld circa 12 km. van Venetië in Italië. Een andere luchthaven, Treviso, ligt op zo'n 30 km van het centrum.

Vanaf de luchthaven gaat naar het centrum een bus tot Piazzale di Roma (circa 25 minuten). Er zijn ook lijnboten (gele met het opschrift Alilaguna) met een vaartijd van 1 uur 30min tot aan het San Marcoplein.

Naast Alitalia vliegen vele internationale luchtvaartmaatschappijen als ook prijsvechters aan op dit vliegveld.

Spritz (ven. spris of spriss) is een populair alcoholisch aperitief uit de regio Veneto.
Het is gemaakt op basis van witte wijn en mineraalwater. Toegevoegd worden olijven en een van de volgende likeurs: Aperol, Select, Campari of Cynar.
Bijna elke stad van de regio heeft haar eigen variëteit.

Zelf vond ik de Aperol het lekkerst, met een schijfje sinaasappel, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
