Looks like a really nice place. Is this inside some kind of park?

it is an old mausoleum in the Ohlsdorfer Friedhof, the main cemetry of Hamburg and the largest park cemetery in the world. The cemetery is actually a huge biotope with nearly 400 hectar of trees, lakes, ponds, wilderness, rare species - and a wonderful park on those hot summer days. We chose the location for a few geocaching tours over the last hot days (30°C) - a good (and quiet) choice.

Sounds like it's a must-see if one were to visit Hamburg(?).

well you do know about geocaching, don't you?
There are about 8000 or more geocaches in Hamburg, see http://www.geocaching.de/index.php?id=55
and there are a few multiple-stage caches which lead through the park cemetery exploring odd or historical places, great nature or architecture. Armed with a few traditional and one or two mystery caches you can easily spend a day wandering around the park and enjoying yourself.
The cemetery isn't exactly a prime tourist spot in a classic way, more for the returning connaisseur :-) or geocacher...

I will, trust me. It seems like you know some quite interesting places and/or activities :-).

This goes the other way too if you ever find yourself in Copenhagen :-)
