it is 100% arabica, from the Great Rift valley in East Africa

well, the roaster said it was 'volcano coffee' - since most of the East African is grown on some kind of volcano or other this doesn't mean much. It was quite light and a little acidic, although I thought rather smooth, but also lacking serious flavor. If you look at the roast and beans, they are uneven (bean sizes and roast).
I love a decent Kenia AAplus or even ++, if I can get one, will have to check with my favorite roaster next time I run out of beans - a the moment I am going through a bag of industrial Lavazza I keep as a backup stuff, before it gets too old.
