The Sprung floor in gymnastics is based on a 22 mm solid hardwood parquet board of two strips. This is nailed to a resilient batten floor system of 1 layer. Total construction height of the floor board is 52 mm. A sprung timber floor is a great option for gymnastics and active movements as it is durable and feels considerably stable under feet. The performance of this board includes medium shock absorbency. It conforms fully to EN 14904, class A3.
