Next: some kosher-style fermented "full-sour" dill pickles!

And it looks like it is going to be a good year for apples this year in Ontario. We've had a lot of rain, so the apples trees are bursting and heavy with fruit. So, I'm going to make apple sauce. A lot of apple sauce.

Lots of cabbage, too, so I'm going to put up a few kilos of cabbage as sauerkraut. And then there are all the tomatoes that will need to be canned so I have them through the winter.

I guess I'm going to be busy...
