Focus is spot on and the DOF great.

I love the way you have blown the highlights and left whole parts of the image without structure.

I am with Rolf here. You reduced the image to its essential parts. The eye of the spectator just cannot drift away.

Thank you for the positive comments. I am aware that this photo would be thrown out of almost any competition. Hope I'll get around to post a full-tonal range version of the same photo.
