Very nice use of the sun light. The statue cannot be missed anymore.

I also "cheated" with a little selective masking to bring out the effect further.

I wish the framing was better, but I don't have a good eye for that ... yet.

I did use the method that Rolf showed in the latest MeetTheGIMP.org episode

As far as framing is concerned. I can only think of the statue to be more on the right side. By that the window structure won't be seen, just a plain wall which does not distract the eye, and it could emphasize the looking to the left of the statue. But it depends of course on how the area around the statue actually looks.

By the way, I am also always struggling with composition and never seem to get it right.
