This is an entry in the meetthegimp.org tryptich challenge. All three of my beautiful girls at one of South Carolina's beaches this past summer!

Joseph, great photos. They really capture the playful moments at the beach. I would probably clone out the big toe (bottom of the left & right images), but it does add a comic note to them.

The borders look great. How did you great them? The visible image through them is slightly refracted and this really adds a nice effect.

Thanks for the comments! To create the refracting border effect I made a copy of the photo layer under the photo. I then scaled it up larger than the photo and set the transparency to around 50. I had to leave the big toe - it was just too funny!

Hey this is lovely! Congrats on winning the competition with this one. The girls look like they're having such a good time and that really shines through the pictures. Well done.

When I saw this image the first time I laughed out loud. It's so funny. Most I loke this exagerated wide angle effect by the large size sandals. And the toe!

The trick with the border is a great idea.
