Microsoft Buys Bing Search Engine Optimization Domains
Perhaps in a move to protect their Bing.com brand, Microsoft has recently purchased eight search engine optimization for Bing domain names. What I find interesting, though, is the fact that they targeted .org, .info, and .net domains, and not the .com versions of them. Ideally Microsoft should own all of them, even the .com domains that they don't own. If they cannot force the owners of those to turn them over to Microsoft through a strongly-worded letter, Microsoft may need to file a UDRP to recover these domain names.
