Business.com is Closing
I just reported on my blog that the website directory that we have known as one of hte major players in the search engine space is closing for good. Business dot com is closing.. Dex One is realigning its interactive operations and will fully integrate Business.com into Dex One. The company, in a press release today, says that they plan to phase out Business.com, primarily a national business-to-business sales and marketing operation and focus exclusively on the Dex One business. Perhaps this might be due to the economy, or just the fact that although Business.com is a great domain name and has a great history, it just cannot be a profitable business for Dex One. So, they have decided to shut Business.com down for good.
