it was hard to select what to focus on this looong depth of field, i have been using more my manual focus lately, since many times i don't like the options that the automatic focus offer, also manually i can actually play with the depth of field, it's funny how it's waaay easier for me to understand regular manual SLR cameras
digital SLR offer a way too complex range for me :( guess i am an old-fashioned photographer heh heh, and thanks thomas, it's rust color ;)

there isn't that much difference to a regular SLR, actually, you still can (and should) play with DOF by choosing various aperture values... but yes I agree it takes some time to getting used to it and to acually use the many options. (Which is another reason why I signed up for that class, to force me to have a closer look at those possibilities and learn to use them)

yes dhania, i would love to get into the options of my camera more, and a class sounds much more fun than just reading instructions manuals anyway... mmm? maybe...
