I would be tempted to clean up the whites of the eyes a bit.

Thank you mrramshaw! Of course you couldn't know this, but when this was taken, this boy had just had surgery on his eyes, correcting for crossed eyes, so to me the red in the eyes is part of a story... Compare with the next photo: http://23hq.com/P/FMVt

As always, there's a story behind the obvious story.

Even behind the well-known National Geographic cover (that this reminds me of) there was another story.

For the 40th (??) anniversary of that picture, they tracked the woman down, she was still stunningly beautiful.

Thank you for the story, of course the picture should be left alone.
