The BMW Isetta was often called "Knutschkugel", which can be translated with "petting-ball" ;-) Many people of my age owe their existance to this car.

North American folks mostly don't get the trike models that some European manufacturers found a market for. I think they are great, but this might be because my first motorcycle was made by a company that made engines for trikes like this in the UK (Villiers).
