it amazes me how distinctive flowers from the desert or other hot regions are. you capture the boldness of them really well here.

Lovely capture of this flower Andy. No doubt the red spots are to entice insects or maybe to keep hungry animal mouths away.

Hello Fizgig
You kindly invited me to join a group (I forget which - the journey has been too traumatic).
I ended up deleting stuff, failing to find the group, going round in so many circles that half an hour later I am in despair! Why is 23 so complicated?
Amazing details. OK. Thank you. But where do I find this? How do I join? and How do I not spend hours trying to do simple things on 23?
I will go back to ipernity which is still alive, just!

You are a member of Amazing Details already.... Just click on the + sign to the right of "PHOTOGROUPS" (which is in the right hand column on this pg. opposite your photo) and select "Amazing Details" from the pull down menu of groups you're a member of to add it.

I had no idea! I don't recall joining this group. I have obviously added to groups before. I presume that I did manage to join the group without realising I had been successful and so continued wasting my time. My fault obviously for being so incompetent when it comes to IT! Anyway thank you for your patience!!! Have a good weekend.

It's all good..... I know it takes a bit of getting used to and all, but I promise you it's no more complicated to use than ipernity at the basic level =) Hang in there and ask questions if you need to....

Well I thought I had got it pretty much sussed, except for the odd group where I can't post because Captcha has extra layers beyond images - some code or other - to get through which I don't understand at all! And then last night was ridiculous. But thank you for your help!

Thank you, BJW. These flowers are ubiquitous in Spring in the mountains of Central Spain. I will go yomping in the mountains again this spring for some more pics!
