A fun stone. Have humans rolled it to stand on the narrow side, looking like an easter egg on display, or did it just weather out this way?

Difficult to say. There has been much quarrying by man but also very ancient volcanic activity, in two phases apparently, has also led to some fantastic granite shapes. I find it hard to tell the difference sometimes and the fact is that much of this landscape is the result of a mix of influences.
