You hear the Ka-BOOM 2 to 3 seconds before you see the water jet because the wave hits the back wall of the cave and takes a little while to be forced up and out through a hole (in this case 2 holes) in the cave roof.

Actually there are two blow holes here but from this angle one hides the other. It is good fun to scramble down to this point! Thank you Remmeltmojet!
