Gaudi did something like this, but with a mirror behind the water in a small room - water was never prettier. This comes pretty close though. It's flowing smoothly enough to curve inwards like a wine glass. I guess that's surface tension or something.

Yeah, I wish I knew the physics behind this. There were 3 fountains, but only this one had a complete 'cone'.
