And att Steffen - what would I do NOT to get caught as a spammer when trying to tell a fellow commenter about a URL?

Oh, and removing the http's and the www's usually does the trick -- but it also loses the trick in the same broad stroke.

How about if we configure akismet to increase the number of links to 2 links instead of just one before it goes bananas? Is that possible?

the link thing really is annoying, I do appreciate blocking URL spamming, but at least there ought to be a way of making a general exception for inhouse aka 23 links :-)
