Building the Festival 2011

Last Summer, I watched the building of the main event tent at the New Haven Festival of Arts and Ideas

The main pavilion of the New Haven International Festival of Arts and Ideas is almost finished.
An electrician is threading wires through the trusses, primarily for powering the lights.
Electricians confer about the next steps necessary to complete the powering of the pavilion.
Outside, workers are assembling the remaining trusses that support the pavilion.
A large sign for the information booth, partially tacked, waits in the sidelines.
Managers discuss the progress of the set up of the pavilion under the big red tent.
